Dr. V. Daskalov

Оbstetrician-gynecologist

Dr. Daskalov is a gynecologist at New Life Specialized Medical Center of Gynecology, Plovdiv.
Dr. Daskalov obtained his medical degree at the Medical University of Plovdiv in 1988, following which he went on to do his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
His first job as a doctor was at the Obstetrics & Gynecology ward at MBAL Dr. Bratan Shukerov, Smolyan. He also worked at a delivery room in Tobruk, Libya for 2 years. Then he moved back to Plovdiv and started working at SBAG Toraks. Dr. Daskalov has also worked at Medicus Alpha clinic and MC Nadezhda Reproductive. Since 2007 he has been working as a gynecologist at SBALAG Selena, Plovdiv. In 2012, he founded the Center of Reproductive Health “Dr. Vasil Daskalov”, Plovdiv, which he has been managing ever since.

In parallel to his clinical practice, Dr. Daskalov also actively collaborates with patient organizations such as the non-governmental organization – Association Zachatie. As a token of his contribution to the works of the association, he was awarded an honourary plaquette. He was also honoured for his annual participation in the Day of Reproductive Health since 2006. Dr. Daskalov is a recipient of a lecturer certificate issued by the First Forum on Pregnancy, Birth and Children’s Health organized by puls.bg as well as a charter “White swallow” awarded by Foundation Nadezhda. Dr. Daskalov was one of the specialists featured by newspaper 24 hours in their series of articles, entitled The Doctors Whom We Trust.

His scientific interests include the prophylaxis of reproductive health, the diagnosis and treatment of infertility, perinatal medicine, fetal anatomy and the management of high risk pregnancies.

He has undergone a number of training programmes in Bulgaria and abroad on the following topics:

✓Stem cell extraction according to directives 2006/17/EU and 2004/23/EU In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) techniques
